We depart Sao Paulo and travel along the stunning Green Coast to the colonial indigenous coastal village of Paraty, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We explore the historic center, visit a nearby waterfall hidden in the lush Atlantic rainforest, and experience the unique blend of colonial, indigenous, and African cultures that define this magical place.

We continue our journey along the coast to the marvelous city of Rio de Janeiro, one of the most spectacular cities on earth. Upon arrival, we ascend Sugar Loaf Mountain by cable car for panoramic views of Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, and the surrounding mountains. We visit the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, with its breathtaking 360-degree views of the entire city.

We discover the historic Carioca Aqueduct (Arcos da Lapa), the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa with its charming hilltop streets and art studios, and the world-famous Selaron Staircase (Escadaria Selaron), decorated with over 2,000 tiles from more than 60 countries, a masterpiece of urban art.
