Day 1: Budapest Airport - Budapest

Arrive in Budapest, the romantic and historic capital of Hungary. Enjoy a panoramic city tour visiting the old historical square and inner Old City, Fisherman's Bastion, Szechenyi Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, the Budapest Parliamentary building, and the famous Karavan street food market. Learn about Hungary's deep Islamic roots -- in the old Hungarian language, Muslims were called Boszormeny. The first Islamic author to describe this Muslim community was Yaqut al-Hamawi, who wrote about Hungarian Muslim students studying in Aleppo. Visit the tomb (Maqaam) of Gul Baba, the northernmost Islamic pilgrimage site in the world. Gul Baba was an Ottoman Bektashi dervish poet and companion of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, known in Hungary as the "Father of Roses." Free afternoon for shopping and leisure. Day 2: Budapest - Pecs - Budapest

After breakfast, journey south to the historic city of Pecs, rich with Ottoman heritage. After the Battle of Mohacs in 1526, Suleiman's armies occupied Pecs and transformed it into a true Ottoman city -- Christian churches were converted into mosques, Turkish baths and minarets were built, Quran schools were founded, and bazaars replaced the markets. For a hundred years, Pecs was an island of peace. Visit the Mosque of Pasha Qasim the Victorious on Szechenyi Square, where the crescent moon of Islam remains visible on the cupola. Explore the Tomb of Idris Baba and the Yakovari Hasan Pasha Mosque, which dates from the mid-1500s and still functions as an active mosque today. Pecs is the richest town in Hungary for Turkish architecture. Free afternoon for shopping and leisure. Dinner and overnight in Budapest.
Day 3: Budapest - Bratislava

After breakfast, depart on a panoramic drive through the beautiful landscapes of southern Hungary into Slovakia, arriving in the immense and beautiful city of Bratislava. Enjoy a panoramic tour of Bratislava's Old Town, entering through the historic St. Michael's Gate and passing the beautiful City Hall. Learn about the Ottoman influence in Slovakia -- decades after the Hungarian defeat at Mohacs, Turkish troops controlled parts of southern central Slovakia until their defeat at the Battle of Vienna. Visit the Islamic Center of Cordoba (Kulturne Centrum Cordoba) on Obchodna Street, the only place of Muslim worship in the country. Meet and greet with the local Muslim community. The center holds daily prayers and Friday sermons in Arabic, English, and Slovak. Free afternoon for leisure and shopping in the Old Historical city of Bratislava. Dinner and overnight in Bratislava.
Day 4: Bratislava - Vienna, Austria

After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic drive through the beautiful landscapes of southern Slovakia and the snow-capped mountains of Austria, arriving in the romantic historic city of Vienna. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. After hotel check-in and prayers, continue to the city center for halal lunch before beginning the afternoon panoramic tour of Vienna's most beautiful sights, including the Vienna State Opera, the Karlskirche, the Belvedere, the Graben, Kohlmarkt, and Vienna's inner city. Conclude at the elegant Ferstel Passage in the Innere Stadt, with its magnificent design and charming cafes. Free time for leisure and souvenir shopping, followed by halal dinner at one of Vienna's famous halal restaurants. Overnight in Vienna.
Day 5: Vienna, Austria

Day 6: Vienna - Prague

Enjoy a panoramic tour visiting Old Town Square, the Prague Astronomical Clock, Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Municipal House, the Church of Our Lady before Tyn, and the Grand Mosque of Prague. Learn about the Islamic heritage of the Czech Republic -- the first documented visit by a person with knowledge of Islam was made in 964-965 by Ibrahim ibn Yaqub, a Jewish merchant from Muslim Spain, whose memoirs became one of the first accounts of Central Europe in the Islamic world. A law of 1912 by the Austro-Hungarian monarchy recognized Islam as a state religion. Today the Czech Republic has mosques in Prague, Brno, and Karlovy Vary. The largest Muslim community is of Turkish origin. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
Day 7: Prague - Prague Airport
